Media & Advocacy

Beyond Destiny Barriers Foundation Media and Advocacy program is a Call to Action.

Media and Advocacy plays a pivotal role in creating awareness on the real causes of behavior problems in people hence promote the funding of solutions that address the root cause of these problems for example crime, addictions, divorce, depression, mental health issues just to list a few.
We believe that every one of us can participate in creating a society that supports the development of pro-social behavior rather than anti-social behavior. Beyond Destiny Barriers Foundation carries out a series of Media and Advocacy campaigns on Tabasamu Tena Tv show to:

  • Raise awareness on the root causes of behavior problems in people and possible remedies or solutions

  • Fundraise for programs and activities.

  • Collaborate with counties, schools, churches and other institutions in Kenya to work together towards helping the marginalized and traumatized people

  • Promote the creation of a society that believes in the inherent worth and dignity of every individual.

Teenage Sex
More than 28 girls on average became pregnant daily in Machakos County in the last five months of the covid19 lock down, a new Kenya Health Information System survey has revealed.

The data shows that a total of 3,964 girls aged 19 years and below were reported pregnant within that period.

Which begs the question, are our teenagers adequately empowered on matters sex and sexuality?

Whose responsibility is it to educate or empower them?
